Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH) 7th April 2023 episode starts with Kairav offering Muskaan a lift home but Muskaan refuses politely and walks away while Kairav regrets being rude to Muskaan the other day. On the other hand, Abhimanyu apologises to Abhinav for his past behaviour and assures him that he will never repeat the same mistake ever again.
Abhinav tells him that he believes him and the punishment he is giving to himself is a lot harsher than anyone can give him and when Abhimanyu will forgive himself only, then he will forgive him too. Meanwhile, Akshara is looking for Abhinav in the hospital.
Abhimanyu tells Abhinav about the hospital grant that is designed to help people without money to get free medical facilities for them. Abhinav gets overjoyed but questions Abhimanyu for his kindness.

After a while, Abhimanyu tells him to submit all of Abheer’s past reports including the birth certificate at the reception. Just then, Akshara who has seen Abhinav and Abhimanyu together gets anxious thinking about Abhimanyu knowing the truth.
Elsewhere, Muskaan is trying to find the auto when Kairav stops his car and apologises to Muskaan for being rude, and tells her to come with him. However, Muskaan tells him that she is not going home but office and do not need his help.
Kairav offers to take her to the office but Muskaan again refuses and turns to leave when Kairav stops her by holding her hand and then regrets it when Muskaan questions his action.
Kairav asks Muskaan do not try to lecture him just because he got weak for a moment last day. He adds she is not his friend. Surekha spots Kairav and Muskaan. Arohi scolds Manish for not taking his medicine. Manish says to Arohi that he is proud of her.

In the meantime, Akshara is trying to feed porridge to Abheer who refuses to eat it while Abhinav tells her to go and submit the papers while he will make Abheer eat it. As Akshara comes out, she meets Ruhi and Aarohi who have come to meet Abheer.
After a while, Abheer feels happy to see Ruhi and gets into a cute argument about the colour of the card that Ruhi has made for him. Aarohi tells Abhinav to use the distraction and make Abheer eat porridge.
Meanwhile, Akshara is feeling overwhelmed thinking about Abhimanyu knowing the truth and taking away Abheer from him. On the other hand, Aarohi asks Abhinav about Abheer’s age when but gets distracted and assures Abhinav that everything will be fine.
In the meantime, Abhimanyu meets Akshara and takes the file from her while her heart beats at double speed fearing discovery. However, Abhimanyu gets called away before he can see the birth certificate. Akshara sighs with relief at having a narrow escape but feels anxious for later.

Later, Abhinav comes to Akshara telling her that he has gotten the discharge paper ready and they are taking Abheer home which puzzles Akshara and she tells him that Abheer cannot go home just yet. However, Abhinav explains to Akshara that a few minutes ago he was searching for Abheer in the hospital and found him playing with other kids when he tries to explain to him that he cannot play in the hospital, Abheer became teary which he cannot abide.
Akshara tells him that this is not the time to be emotional and they will have to think practically as Abheer needs to be at the hospital so he can be well taken care of. However, Abhinav tells her that if Abheer will remain sad then his body will not respond to treatment that well. Abhimanyu who has just arrived looks thoughtful seeing Abhinav and Akshara argue.
