Today’s Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 24th May 2023 episode starts with Virat telling Bhavani that if they will react then people will get a chance to react. Meanwhile, Bhavani tells her that Sai has finally brought this day upon them. After a while, two people from the staff add alcohol to the water and gets busy calling another friend.
Later, Sai encourages Amba for her performance who is nervous to be performing after so many years. Just then the host announces the cancellation of the Lavni dance which disappoints Amba but makes Bhavani happy. Satya tells Sai that it is Virat who has gotten this dance cancelled as he and Bhavani were against this dance from the beginning.
Sai goes to confront Virat for stooping so low as to get the Lavni dance cancelled. Meanwhile, Virat tells her that he has no hand behind the cancellation of this performance nor is he against Lavni. Satya also comes to accuse him saying he has heard him and Bhavani talk degradingly about the dance and how she wanted him to stop it.

Just then the the organiser of the function comes and apologises to Sai telling her they have to cancel the dance because the chief guest has some urgent meetings that cannot be avoided. Both Sai and Satya feel ashamed for blaming Virat and apologise to him as well. Afterwards, Sai goes to talk to the home minister and requests him to stay for the dance as it is prestigious representatives like him who can encourage the art form that is a part of their culture.
The minister gets impressed by Sai’s emotional request and agrees to stay for another half an hour. Meanwhile, the host announces to the audience that the dance is back on and invites Amba and the group along with Sai to the performance. Satya resets Sai’s Gajra (flower garland) while thanking her for making the dance happen.
Meanwhile, Virat looks at Sai and Satya with grave jealousy. Both Virat and Satya go to drink water and accidentally drink the one with alcohol. Afterwards, feeling hot they decided to step out for fresh air. They both stare angrily at each other and are about to attack when they trip and fall down.

In their drunken state, Virat and Satya begin to laugh at each other in a drunken state while Virat asks him why he keeps coming in front of him. Meanwhile, Satya asks him why he keeps coming after him. They acknowledge each other as cousins saying that they are best in their fields because they are related.
Satya tells him that he is very jealous of him because Sai has been with him for so many years but he has met him recently. However, Virat gets sad and tells him that it is of no consequence because she married him instead. Satya asks him isn’t Sai so special that people fall in love with her at first sight.
However, Virat tells him that there was no love at first sight for them as they married under duress and fell in love a lot later. Satya looks surprised and asks him if Sai has married him in duress too. Meanwhile, the dance finishes and Amba and others take a bow while the home Minister sings praises for them.

He also thanks Sai for making him realize the importance of preserving the art that represents that culture. Meanwhile, Satya tells him that Sai married him in duress too but Virat refuses to believe him but Satya tells him that Sai married him not because of love but to get rid of him.
Both of them continue to argue and decide to go and ask Sai whom she loves among them. Meanwhile, Virat asks him if Sai tells them that she loves him then will he leave her for good.
