Today’s episode starts with Abheer talking to Ruhi and asking her what should he do to cheer Abhimanyu. Ruhi suggests making a card for him that Abheer likes and begins making a card. In the meantime, Manjari worriedly asks Dr Rohan to check at the hospital as Abhimanyu is not home. Dr Rohan looks everywhere and finds him asleep on a stretcher and tells Manjari that he has found him.
Manjari feels relieved to hear that and tells Rohan to ensure that Abhimanyu is alright and stay beside him. Elsewhere, Muskaan has gathered everyone in the hall to tell them that she has to reply to the office by tomorrow. Manish and Swarna tell her that she should not have delayed matters related to her career as it is important.

Muskaan tells everyone that it is their support that has given her the courage to pursue her career and she wants to go to Mumbai. Everyone except Kairav is happy with Muskaan’s decision which puts Muskaan in conflict. On the other hand, Abhimanyu wakes up hearing Abheer calling to him but is disappointed to see Rohan instead.
Meanwhile, Rohan tells him to go home and rest and his surgeries will be taken care of. However, Abhimanyu refuses to listen, and with wobbly legs, he walks out of the room to perform the surgery. After a while, Anand, Arohi, and Rohan come to him and Anand tells Abhimanyu that he is not fit to perform surgery and needs time off.
Abhimanyu tells him angrily that he does not need time off but needs to do work as that is all he has while Arohi questions him if Ruhi and Manjari do not matter to him. Abhimanyu ignores her and continues to prepare for the surgery when Anand sternly tells him to go home. Later, Abhimanyu is sitting in a bar drinking and looking at Abheer’s happy picture.

Meanwhile, Abheer tells Akshara that he wants to meet Abhimanyu as he has prepared a sorry card for him. Akshara agrees but worries about the condition Abhimanyu must be in. At the bar, Abhimanyu overhears a stranger lying to his son and tells him that he should not lie to his son. In a drunken state, he tells that man that a father’s love always falls short in comparison to a mother’s love and that is why he left him.
The waiter tells him that he is drunk and needs to go home but Abhimanyu refuses to leave and orders another drink. After a while, Abhimanyu is walking on the road with a bottle of whiskey when he falls on the ground while the heavy traffic passes him by. Just then, he sees a truck coming his way and closes his eyes wishing it to cross over him.

Meanwhile, Akshara, Abheer, and Abhinav arrive at the Goenka house to find Manjari crying for Abhimanyu. Seeing Akshara there, she walks angrily to her while Abheer looks scared. As Akshara asks Manjari where Abhimanyu is, Aarohi comes following Abhimanyu who is telling her that he is alright. Just then, he sees Abheer standing there and thinks him to be his imagination.
Seeing Abhinav and Akshara with them he complains to them for invading his imagination too. He sits beside Abheer and tells him that he loves him while Abheer calls him Docman which saddens him and he tells him to at least call him Dada in his imagination. Seeing Abhimanyu walk out from there, Manjari cries her heart out seeing Abhimanyu’s condition. Meanwhile, Akshara and Abhinav offer to help Abhimanyu come out or deal with his pain.
