Today’s episode starts with Anupama telling Anuj that her mother Anupama has won over student Anupama and she has no regret for what she has done. Anuj tells Anupama that he would never judge Anupama for her decisions to which Anupama smiles at him with love. Anupama says that sometimes one has to take instant decisions within seconds and she chose to come back for Anu, leaving away the golden opportunity she got in her life.
As Anuj mentions Guru Maa, Anupama’s smile disappears and she says that she has hurt Guru Maa very much and is trying to call her but Guru Maa is not picking up the call. Meanwhile, Nakul tells Guru Maa that Anupama might have to Anuj’s house which makes Guru Maa glare in anger and she prepares to pay Anupama a visit.
On the other hand, the electricity goes off and Leela says that a storm might be approaching when Anuj and Anupama come downstairs together. Vanraj says that they are very worried about Anupama and want to know why Anupama came back here instead of leaving for America. Kinjal says that Anupama can take her time to tell everyone to which Kavya agrees.

Anupamaa Written Update 17th July 2023
As Anupama is about to tell everyone her reasons, her eyes fall on the main entrance and Anupama gets shocked to see Malti Devi standing there with dark eyes. Anupama comes to Guru Maa and falls to her feet while apologizing and Guru Maa hugs Anupama making everyone feel relieved. However, Malti Devi stares at Anupama with her expression changing and lands a thrashing slap on her cheeks leaving everyone shocked.
Anuj protests against Malti Devi’s behaviour but Anupama urges him not to say anything, making Anuj feel frustrated. Malti Devi says that Anupama was her favourite student and she had so much love for her which is why she let Anupama touch her feet for the last and even hugged her. However, the love ended with that hug and the relationship of hate has started with that slap. Which will ensure that Anupama gets dragged down to the bottom very soon.

Anupamaa Latest Episode
Anupama says that she came back because she is a mother and cannot see her child suffering in her absence. Further, Anupama says that she had another reason which is Maaya as she had promised her that she will be there with Anu. Anupama gives a monologue on how a mother cannot bear to see their children in pain.
And could do anything to ensure that their child is safe and healthy although the process makes them get fragile and tired. As Anupama says that she is proud of being a mother and what she did, Malti Devi grits her teeth while Anuj and Vanraj protest against her. Anupama asks Malti Devi if she does not understand the feelings of a mother as she is herself one too, leaving Malti Devi silent.
